Graphite Tubes and Contact Sets Tubes for Graphite Furnace Atomic Absorption Spectrometry are made only from graphite that has been tested extensively for spectral purity. To achieve the degree of precision necessary for reproducible Graphite Furnace Spectrometry, machining tolerances of four ten-thousandths are maintained throughout the manufacturing process. Our tubes are then coated by chemical vapor deposition. This pyrolytic coating provides resistance to thermal degradation and provides superior life (some competitors offer resin impregnated tubes which can wear quickly when exposed to "dirty" sample matrices, and can suffer from lot to lot variability). Only pyrolytically coated tubes can offer the consistent long life, sensitivity and reproducibilityn necessary for quality analysis.
